Car-Wraps.com is brought to you by The Graphics Department Inc. 1in 1993 our first project was for the Disney Company. We wrapped a 53-foot trailer with 3M Scotchprint vinyl graphics. Prior to that time, Pepsi had done some promotional wrapping on transit buses in select U.S. cities, but nobody had ever wrapped a whole trailer for "Pride Of Ownership" promotions; until Disney.

Disney had done their homework and called their project "The Big Rig". They found that wrapping a trailer and using it as a "Mobile Trade Show Display" was a highly cost-effective method of establishing a brand and promoting their products. In this case, the trailer was built as a retail store full of plush dolls, posters, DVD's and VHS cassettes and other retail products. It was a rolling billboard completely decked out in full color promotional outdoor graphics. Disney billed the effort as a marketing first and later reported that it was a huge success.
